buying a klr (i think)

I finally got to ride a KLR for about 10 minutes at Sun Kawa in Denver, CO - I really liked the way it rode and am all set to buy one now. What is a good price on a 2003 (brand spankin new)? The dealer says $4995.00 with no haggling - what should I offer? This seems like a good bike and I can't wait to get it! Scott
