fair prices?

There might still be good parts inside the engine as well- little stuff like the valve cover bolts, cam cap bolts (but not cam caps themselves), rotor, starter motor, etc. Salvage yards charge 1/2 of new, as a rule. Fair price is what the market will bear, which will be somewhat less. There are several people looking for wheels at the moment- a complete set including spacer, speedo drive, cush drive etc. for under $400 would go pretty quickly I'd think. Is this your bike? How did it seize? Devon A15 truckscum wrote:

dualsport jackets

The UPS man dropped off my new jacket today. Let me describe it abit ok.. Same "cut" as an aerostich or kilimanjaro, you know..our type of jackets. Its black to maintain the coolness factor..as in looking cool. thin insulation, padded elbows, sholders and chest. 12in. two way underarm vents, two way back vent. 3M scotchlite reflective piping. The material is for all intents cordura though called Koslan. Stand up fleece lined collar, velcro at neck and cuffs. waistbelt. I had just tried on a Kilimanjaro two weeks before at Crossroads of Time (deals Gap) If there is any difference in quality or looks, someone is gonna have to point it out to me, cause I don't see it. Come to think of it though there was one major difference... This jacket cost me 79.99 They are "Polaris" closeouts. Found at "The Sportsmans Guide" Only catch is to get one now you have to belong to the "Buyers Club" which I think cost 20.00 and is good forever. I have saved a couple of hundred on purchases over regular customers already. Just thought you might be interested in it. In closing I have to say this. I am not a cheapskate type. The opposite if anything. My other jacket (Vanson Avenger) I paid 600.00 for.The nine mil. that goes under it on long trip, another 600.00 The point I'm making is I know quality when I see it. This jacket is sweeeeeet! Longwinded Longrider
