As a long time customer of MAW, I am concerned about the following report. I would encourage MAW to resolve these issues and assure their buying public of their concerns for customer service. I am especially concernced, that if it is true, that MAW has notified the BBB that they no longer wish to respond to nor hear about any complaints a consumer has about them.

The information in this report has either been provided by the company, or has been compiled by the Bureau from other sources.
Customer Experience
The company specializes in mail order accessories for motorcycles. The company has an unsatisfactory file rating due to a pattern of complaints that allege the wrong item was sent, and consumers must pay the freight fee to return the item. I sent my email to MAW and CC'd the list. I would encourage others to do
likewise (or at least to MAW, maybe not to the list).

I'm in the same boat, I have stopped ordering from MAW, & Dual Star,
because of the way the prices were jacked up me, with shipping and
handling costs.
I have found that going to a local dealer and saying, "Hey, I can get
that item on line for $20 less" .. has helped me sometimes, when
dickering for a cheaper price.

I personally have not had a problem with Dual Star.
MAW is another story. I dealt with them once and that
was it. No Mas! The list has access to Fred, Jake,
Tim, Mike and other straight arrow people. Why bother
with MAW?

While I agree that Fred is spectacular based on personal use and the lists
observations (though his website is pretty difficult to use and Angelfire
pop ups are enough to make me want (though not do) shop elsewhere), there is
still the issue of TIRES and a catalog of every conceivable item shipped to
my door. MAW is good on those (if you get the right price and free shipping
special).
Now if Fred has gloves, helmets, tires, etc. with as good as prices and
service on his "bike parts", I need to know it!

I've been really happy with Fred @ Arrowhead Motorsports. Good
prices, fast delivery, and good advice. I'm placing an order with
him this week for sprockets, brakes, etc.
Personally I feel the dealers don't know much about the KLR.

Well, one good turn deserves another. Who has failed is
the religious right wing, who can't seem to get along in this
world, but seem to think the taxpayers should subsidize their
efforts to live in their dreamland.
I raised my son to mistrust those who put their
Christianity out front, particularly those who use religion as an
excuse to justify backward politics and execrable morals.
