Gino, I'll be curious as to what kind of mileage you get from these. The T66s are the only tires I toasted in less than two weeks. They were mounted on a 1992 BMW R100GS. The outside blocks were supposed to be softer than the center blocks. They sure were. I didn't even get 1000 miles out of them. I hope they've changed from "Pink Pet eraser" rubber to something more durable. Bill A15 (running Pirelli Scorpions at the moment) Livermore CA

Our founding father comes back to visit, and look at what he has to put up with... HA!! Are they this tough over at the V-Strom list? I visit there occasionally, but haven't spent much time lurking. There are almost as many posts there as we have..... Thoughts?? MNRon

The V-Strom list is a nice civil list with a noticeable lack of know- it-alls. The bike is still new so there isn't much info of the tech nature and they haven't discovered the joys of topics such as gun control, bears, holding environmentalists liable for devistating forest fires, the myth of synthetic oil, etc... But DL riders do seem to be piling the miles on and there are lots of BMW riders who have seen the light and gone to the Strom for riding satisfaction. Gino

I ran them on my Tiger. The new ones wear very well. Without noticing, I got one that was a few years old... wore out real quick. Check the manufacture date just for grins. West

You know, RM. The V-Strom is a big, fast bike. I think it might be too much bike for you. I'd hate to see you get hurt. Gino
