Dual Star donated a bunch of door prizes for the Canyonlands Motor Classic. I was pleasantly surprised, they put up a full set of their new luggage and front guards (radiator, etc.) to be raffled off, a HD tube, a water pump guard and a bunch of other stuff as door prizes. I would guess at retail pop, they gave up about $800 to $1000 worth of stuff! Wolfman Luggage also put up a complete Alpha Pack, and a couple of tank bags and rear duffels, etc. Rev Pack put up a rear bags set, and Eric from Wolfman won it. I think he burned it in a campfire later that night (just kidding). Big Cee donated a gift certificate, Arrowhead Motorsports' proprietor co-hosted the event, Sagebrush Machine had their Moab division working around the clock in the campground, there were a few other vendors I can't remember. If someone could post a whole list of them that would be great, but the ones I named certainly did a bit to support the KLR riding community. Give them some business!! CA Stu

Dreas could be right, but I don't think so. Proof of the pudding, I think: I tried riding one handed, with my throttle hand gently maintaining throttle position but not applying any steering pressure- and the bike still tracked straight. I consciously made a point of not weighting the pegs or doing anything else to steer the bike. Unless I was doing some pretty subtle stuff with body english, the bike was doing all the work. Steve.
