I just ordered Russell SS brake lines (along with a 16-tooth sprocket) from my local dealer. I have heard concern that the SS lines can saw away at plastic and metal on a bike unless you protect the lines somehow. What has the collective done about this? Three weeks till Mid-Ohio! I also found out about the Russell clear coverd lines , but after I had all ready bought and installed the uncovered lines , what I did though is put some heavy "srink" tubeing on the lines at wear points , It seems to have worked well , been on for 10k now ... Gary A13

I've been disappointed with the Galfer Greens. Maybe I'll try cleaning the rotors again... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Tax Center - online filing with TurboTax http://http://taxes.yahoo.com/>

Both Simple Green and kerosene have worked for me. These days I just use Simple Green and water plus a stiff brush as needed, since the kerosene is much more toxic both to me and to the environment than the Simple Green is. -- Marc Illsley Clarke, KLR650 A12, Loveland, Colorado, USA
