I just finished making a tool carrier out of 3"
ABS plastic. While I am waiting for the spray
paint to dry, I have a few question for those
of you who have one.
Do you just throw the tools in and let them rattle
around or have you found some sort of holder
that keeps them together and rattle free?

I would suggest wrapping the tools in rags:
1. stops rattles
2. now you have a rag if needed
Just curious, how long did you make the tube ?
How many beer cans fit in it ?
