Deer wouldn't be such a nuisance if they were just a bit smarter.
Skunks aren't your friend.
Stich is in the washer and I'm looking for someone with no sense of smell
to clean the bike.

Jack, Jack. Take a bath in Tomato Juice. It'll kill the smell. I give my
dogs a bath in it whenever they try to kiss skunks too.

Actually, Coke works better than tomoato juice and won't stain. Keeps
you from having a pink dog.

Deer suck- they haven't yet evolved the ability to judge the distance
and speed of anything faster than a wolf. Means they jump right in front
of you.
Did the skunk spray you, or did it make a mess when you ran it over?

I was behind a pickup, using him as a 'snowplow', and he apparently hit it
dead center. It came out from under his trunk and I ran over the leftovers.
Hell of a speed bump. Guess I am fortunate it was one of those Texas
whitetail rats instead of a mule deer.

a car straddled the skunk and it sprayed, I rode through the lingering
cloud. Had to ride the next 500 miles with the stench. Got in and tossed
the stich in the washer before the War Department could stop me. Seems fine
now but the bike smells, especially when it warms up.

Lot o skunks out here where I live, rural N. California. You don't
have to run em over to get the stink on you. Most of the ones I see
on the road are pre-flattened (someone else already got em) and I
don't even let my tires get anywhere near where they lie. If I get
close to them on the pavement, the bike stinks when I get home, for
days, sometimes. I can usually smell them as I approach their final
resting place.
When I was a kid they were a daily portion of my varmint-hunting
endeavors, and many times my mom bathed me and wiped me down with
tomato juice. We would kill them with blowguns or 22s, skin 'em,
stretch their hides on wooden racks to dry, and make skunkskin hats
out of them. cool, huh.

Jack, Jack, Jack,
Haven't you learned anything from the list? You DON'T have to warm up the
KLR, (or do you?).

Jack I heard a story, I think from the Waltz, about
someone who hit a buzzard, broke the windshield, and
disintegrated on there chest. Had to finish the ride
with buzzard guts drying on the chest, ymmm
