My new Corbin is here! It took less than 4 weeks to arrive. I ordered it on
1/9.
It looks great, and I'll brake it in this weekend..

Mark,
Congrats on the new seat. Don't be surprised if it takes more than a few
miles to break in that Corbin. If it is anything like my Bill Meyer Saddle,
it can take several hundred miles. The good thing about that is that the
more you ride, the better it gets.

I ordered mine on 1/8 and hadn't received it. I called Corbin to check on
the status of my seat and they told me it had only been a little over 3
weeks, it would take another 3 weeks before I'd receive it. I asked if I
rode over (their only an hour from my house) could they build it while I
wait. The answer was yes, so I planned on going over next Wednesday. Well
guess what, I came home from work tonight and found my new seat on my
doorstep. Its on the bike and I like it. If it rides as well as the one on
my CBX I'll be happy..

I was just putting the new Corbin seat on my bike, and noticed the metal
piece that slides under the tank mount, is a solid piece. It's not forked
like on the stock seat.
And it's hitting the vacume tube that goes through there, that comes from
the gas tank.. If I push it in far enough, I can bolt the seat down.
I'm a little worried this is going to pinch off that vacume hose.
Is there a quick fix for this, or do I need to cut a fork in the piece.

I'm installing a Corbin seat and an IMS gas tank. Where is the metal
tab on the front of the seat supposed to go? There are two positions
it could slide into - the lower one where the vent tube runs and the
slot above it.
I can attach the seat only by setting the metal tab into that upper
position but it leaves a gap of a couple of inches between the front of
the seat and the tank.
