Anyone have any experience dealing with Joe Rocket on warranty issues? I've a pair of ballistic 3.0 pants that I've had for less than 6 months and one of the leg zippers is shot. So now the pants are essentially unusable. The warranty says 90 days, so I'm guessing I'm sh*t outta luck. This really sucks. Maybe it's time to suck it up and spend the cash for tourmaster or aerostich gear. Afraid this might be a case of getting what I paid for, but at $150, the ballistics aren't all that cheap, and I'd certainly expect more than 6 months use out of them... -Trevor

It never hurts to ask for help, even beyong the warranty period. But if JR won't fix your pants, you might try a luggage repair shop. That's where I take my leather goods when a zipper goes south. Arden Kysely A11 "Mr. K"

Called 'em today and they said to go ahead and send them in. Looks like they're going to repair or replace them. Would have preferred they not fail in the first place, but at least it seems as if they're going to do something about it. -Trevor

I saw a KLR, '01 or '02 I think, parked at a gas station on Rt 23 today while I was heading back to the city. I know there was a ride scheduled to Port Jervis and back, was this one of you guys? Devon A15
