I have read somewhere that there is an extended pilot screw with a knurled end, so that you can adjust the pilot screw with your fingers. Now I cannot find the reference. Anyone know where to get these? Are they any good? Thanks! Tom

If you expect to adjust the mixture a lot then I have no doubt the big thumbscrew would be a good thing. Maybe you cross altitudes and like to be able to at least adjust the idle mix to compensate. I can't put a date on the last time I adjusted the mixture on my bike, but I think it was at least four years ago. Mister_T Melbourne Australia

Miata Myk writes..."I waved to you from inside (gasp) the Miata." Hey don't ya feel foolish when you catch yourself doing that? I waved at the folks on dual sport bikes at Biktoberfest and they all looked at me like I had a screw loose (true). Caught myself wavin in a car to, and figured I was lookin kinda foolish, like the guy on the bike must be thinkin': "Hey, what kinda loser was that waving at me from his car, geez, whatta loser..." Been there done that Myk, Swampy Wavin' from his computer...
