highway bar/pegs, finished

Well, the other day I decided to go out and design and fabricate my own set
of Highway bars/pegs. I had decided to do this because I didn't feel like
paying the $69 that HappyTrails is asking for theirs. I designed mine
without looking at theirs, so as not to copy. What I came up with was
similar, but different. Coincidentally, I think I used the same pegs that
they do. The actual bar, without the pegs, is about 18". The mounting
flanges on mine that attach to the frame are beefier, and welded to 2 sides
of the bar, not one. Mine does not have that top "loop" that HappyTrail's
does. I saw no need for the loop. I rode it around, and boy is that nice! I
found myself using them all the time, even between lights. Gives you more of
a "cruiser" sitting position, and helps with that crappy stock seat. I was
wondering if anyone would be interested in such a product if I were to make
some more. They would be substantially less than the "other" one that is
available. Maybe, $40, or so? I don't have any pics yet, but maybe I could
get some to show you guys.
