mounting givis on the klr

Hi Guys,
I hope nobody minds if I break the NKLR theme and ask a technical
question...
I just purchased a set of E45's along with the mounting brackets.
Word is there's no adaptor that's specific for the KLR, so what I was
sent instead is an adaptor kit for a 1991 KLE500. I've heard that
this have successfully used to mount the Givis. Has anyone out there
done this, or do I have to send the mounting gear back and buy a
tubular rack like the guys at Arizona Motorsports sell (like I
probably should have done in the first place)?
Thanks for the comments.

Do you know why the guy in the front row can break wind, yet everyone in the
room ends up smelling it? Because gas expands to fill its current container.
So flatulate away, no one but you and maybe your neighbor will know where it
came from.
