klr250 @ 80mph

My klr250 is turning 4200rpm @ 65mph and about 5800 @ 80mph.Redline
is indicated at 9500rpm, but the bike won't pull past 7200rpm. I've
ridden for about 30 minutes at 80mph, and it's temp was rock steady,
and vibration was acceptable. My 0-60 times are around 7 seconds, but
there is not enough of a hit to lift the front tire in 1st gear. I
suspect that the counter-balancers and cv carb may mask some of the
actual power the bike produces. My clutch problems I posted about
before turned out to be operator head space and timing issues...
