Well it seems "Bike" magazine has thought on our mounts, fellas.
In their July 2001 used bike review: "Sorted and smooth water-cooled
trailie. Only hairy-chested types would take it off-road." No shit.
The first scuff is the deepest, baby I know,
The first scuff is the deepest
'cause when it comes to virgin plastic she's cursed
when it comes to lovin' dirt she's worse
but when it comes to being ridden she's first
that's how I know

I was really bothered by some minor scuffs on the color impregnated
plastic fairing and handguards.

Perhaps apologies are due to Rod Stewart...opening cut on
"A Night on the Town" (no pun). Brings back fond memories...

So much for dating any female KLR riders who go offroad.
Wonder what Mariola would say about that comment!
Gino wishing his chest hair would relocate to the top of his head.

supertrapp angle - the spacer

heyall
this talk about supertrapps reminded me...
i didnt like the angle of the muffler with the included spacer- it was
rubbing against the plastic cover and threatening to melt it down.
SO
i hacksawed the spacer down to half size- problem solved - and it looks a
bit better as well.
