It's on the Dual Sport News web site at: http://www.dualsportnews.com/lasal.html After last year I think I would recommend changing the descriptions of this trail from "easy to moderate" to "moderate and difficult". I thought it was easy but some had real problems. Any other comments about this loop that I led last year? Fred, I went on your ride last year and I think the description easy to moderate was pretty accurate other than the 100 yards or so of "slag". I would suggest that this years ride leader define passing protocol/etiquette. A few people seemed to get there nose bent out of shape last year over being passed. Bogwan, Bro...warm up before you hit this one. The start has about 4 hogs backs to start and the last one is solid loose rock (about 100yd ascent across a side hill rockslide). Once your past the Talus its friendly and long. For crossing the talus.... Stand slightly. Hold tight. 'Keep a steady throttle hand' at 8-mph+.........the bike will want to yank you around so yank it back, while maintaining steady throttle....any slower, or jerky throttle will kick loose the talus, then you lose momentum. Starting again is a b........ The rest of the ride is wonderful.........super green, aspens, meadows, hills are alive type country......Then you bail out into plains of sage, and down a twisty red canyon with several creek crossings just before the pavement.......
