Hello Everyone
Thanks to all that helped me with the info on tire mounting and the costs I should expect to pay.
I decided to go with an Avon d/s Gripster rear tire $84.
If I take the wheel in to them mounting is free , So long as I bought the tire from them.
If i take the whole bike in they said they would charge me $25.
I guess if I can remove a wheel , Im sure I can pull a tire, But FREE did sound appealing

Thanks
Dave

free is very appealing. the places around here charge way more than
mail-order for tires, and then charge $15-20 each to install. at that
point, i decided to just buy mail order and put em on myself. it's
harder than putting on bicycle tires, but the same basic idea. i've
pinched tubes on my little bikes (with rimlocks), but no problems yet
with the klr in 3 sets of tires.
you might want to do one yourself anyway, if you haven't done it
before. i found it to be a big confidence boost when riding off the
beaten path (with a spare tube, tire irons and handpump, of course).
cheers,

I like the sticker design, but how 'bout one in blue, white, and (s)lime green for us "vintage" KLR riders. You can leave off the green and I won't be offended. I've removed as much as possible already, no need to put some back on.
I'm sure this would increase the price though. I'd pay double though ($2).
