I have not seen or heard many speak about this Dual Sport.
Thanks!

nklr what are some of the reviews on the quota 1100ez?
I still haven't ridden one but it sure is pretty. I think Dual Sport News did
a long term test on one recently.

running into things (nklr)
Had a few incidents. Once coming up from the Gulf Coast one evening
just as it was getting dark:30,
I saw the image of what appeared to be a truck tire thread on the road.
So I just was gonna skim it to the right on my '78 XT500 Yama. Well
when I get about 10 yards from it at about 50 mph , it started moving.
All's I could do was get on the gas and get the front light. We survived
the run in with out falling and I was not about to go back and see how
the damn alligator was doing. Even though my friend wanted me to.
Figured I may have have upset it too much to be agreeable with me
telling it I was sorry for running over it.
A few years ago at about 10PM coming in from playing about Arkansas on
my 95 BMW R11GSA I hit a bami . Had traffic coming my way on a 2 lane
and with the on coming lights blinding me, I didn't see it till it was
about 5 yards in front of me and I'm doing about 65 mph. Didn't have
time to do anything but get on the gas and brace. Heard a sound of tire
squeal, the feel of a good bump on the front tire, and normal. I shook
the handle bars and it was normal so slowing slowed down and stopped to
inspect the front in by flashlight. Couldn't see any damage so continued
on into the next town to get a good look under lights. After that the
bike would pull to the right when letting go the handlebars. Not bad but
not the same straight ahead as it would do before. Luck Nite for sure.
Didn't go back and check on Bambi either.
