Someone mentioned Red River NM, very nice but probably the coldest
town in NM. PLan on parking the bike for many months. It is a high
(pretty) valley and all the cold air just makes you shiver, but nice
skiing.
Durango is already flooded with MDs. But it is a nice little town with
a more moderate winter than Red River but real estate has inflated a
great deal.
