Greetings,
I wanted to know when you put in a brand new balancer chain, what
point should the Idler adjustment bolt go into the idler adjustment
plate when reassembled. Should it be in the center, to the left of
center,or all the way to the left of the idler adjustment plate?
For all you part # nuts
At what point should bolt 95150-1923 go into plate(lever, idler shaft)
#13168-1436.
Thanks Again

Somewhere left of centre, I guess, assuming all other parts are ok.
I don't know if any of us has actually seen this location when the
bike is completely new so it is a bit hard to compare.
The base manual shows the bolt in pretty much the middle of the slot
but it's hard to tell if the chain in the picture is really tensioned.
Wear in the guides will affect the chain tension to some extent.
If the balancer chain is worn out, the guides may show some wear as
well.
Bearing that in mind, in the centre or maybe a little bit to the
right might be ok.

It was a great read, very well written to boot. Bet it'll feel great to
get home. Thanks for sharing your trip with us bud.
