Westco [ https://www.westcobattery.com/kawasaki.htm ] lists their #12V14L-B (OEM Ref.#YB14L-A2) as the proper replacement for KLR650 batteries. I have not installed a 'Westco' in my KLR yet, but did install one in my Moto Guzzi. The battery performed as expected... never needed any maintenance, was sold with the bike, so I don't know how long it would have lasted. I will buy one for my KLR650 at replacement time. Phil...
