Ear plugs and try taking your wind screen completely off. Several of us have left ours off due to the buffeting. Some people have good luck with higher screens and some hate them. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa

Earplugs. You'll be amazed at what a difference a 75 cent pair of earplugs makes. FWIW Karl

Just got back from a 2K mile trip with the last 600 miles done in a 10 hour ride with speeds in that area. I have the Rifle tall windshield for long highway miles and the Kaw tall windshield for everyday use. At 75 using the Rifle, I can ride with sunglasses and my visor up with out ear plugs for a while. I get more head buffeting on my Valkyrie Interstate than I to with the KLR / Rifle. The Kaw tall windshield reduces body blow but it's strictl visor down and ear-plugs at anything above 20 MPH for me. Joe -----Original Message----- From: Robert T. When I got off I had to pull off the road and rip my helmet off because of the pain in the ears from all the noise and constant head buffeting from the wind. The bike really loves speed, that's not a problem, it's the wind buffeting that kills you. Can a higher rise windscreen cure this?? Any other ideas??? Thanks, Rob (Still loves his A-13!!) I must ask the obvious. What kind/brand/model helmet are you wearing? I am 6'2" and wear a Shoei xsp II,the wind buffet hits me right in the neck/lower section of the helmet. Perhaps its in the helmet,as i have not noticed it. just whippin my 2 in the fray B. Jr.
