Hi all,
Any suggestions out there for points of interest or good rides? We will be wandering through Eastern Washington, Idaho, Nevada and Northern California. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!

[dsn_klr650] wandering
don't know how heavily you'll be loaded, or what level of craziness in
offroaditude you're looking for, but, if you're coming from tahoe towards
the coast, you can cut off of hwy 80 just over donner summit (or better yet,
take the old donner pass rd), and in soda springs there's a road that turns
to dirt that goes down foresthill divide, eventually turning back to
pavement again. more fun than the hwy i bet, and if you're camping, plenty
of places to camp, and many miles of klr-able singletrack (loops 1, 2, 3, 4,
7) at parker flats ohv area. if you get down towards sonoma county, there
are masses of back roads to and from and along the coast, and some good
routes through mendocino nat'l forest, etc...
what are your interests? are you camping or hoteling? when are you riding?
where in norcal might you be? do you have interest in wine and beer? more
interested in fun off-roading or twisty roads? etc., etc.... happy to help
if i can.
