fork tube position.

Post by D.J. Rogers » Mon Jun 26, 2000 7:48 pm

G'Day. I just got my Dual Star centerstand today and was reading the destructions. They say that the normal position for the top of the fork tubes is flush with the top of the triple clamps. Is this true? The tops of my forks are approx. 2 3/8 inches above the top of the clamps. Maybe this explains why I don't have much trouble putting my feet on the ground with my 32 inch inseam. Can anyone confirm the Dual Star statement for me. Tanx. Cheers, D. GBG eh14

prolong engine treatment for klr's?

Post by Dan Curry » Mon Jun 26, 2000 8:27 pm

Hey everyone: I stumbled upon this site recently and was curious as to the validity of it's claims with the Prolong stuff. Does anyone know if this is true. Last I heard, it was taboo to put any kind of "engine treatment" in motorcycle oil because of the wet clutch. Anybody know anything about this??? Check it out at: www.randyclay.com/kawasaki.htm Curiously yours... Dan in SoCal P.S. If the website link doesn't "illuminate" so your mouse can click on it right to the page. Somebody please tell me how to do this. This technique has thus far eluded me. I'm using an "iMac" by the way
