I ended taking a different path which required no bike mods. I bent the Rally Pro to meet my needs. I ended up not having to move anything on the bike, not having to trim anything on the guards, and it all goes together easily now. The one mod I did need to make was drilling out the end caps of both hand grips. I bored out the acclerator side to the inside diameter of the plastic acclerator handle (inside of the end cap is flush witht the inside of the plastic tube). I suspect that falling hard on the right (wrong) side of the bike might result in a sticky acclerator, but an allen wrench and a good tug would fix it I think. The left guard is perfect, with no clutch lever mods necessary at all. On the right one I had to rotate the brake lever downward a bit to let the brake lever hang down below and outside of it a little, because the stock brake lever was too long to fit inside the guard (where it belongs). I'm going to get a shorter lever. You could just saw off the tip of the stocker, of course. The banjo bolt of the master cylinder is squeezed pretty tightly by the Rally Pro, if that helps you imagine the location. I believe that you can also move the brake mount closer to the center of the bars, but I haven't tried it. Neatest little gadget since two wheels. Uncle made it even better [more accuracy] The memory chips are slick. Two 8-meg chips can store enough information for several days of riding. Software works well. I carry mine in the tank bag in the map section on top of an extra pair of gloves. If the weather gets to wet, in my jacket pocket it go's.
