parking advice nklr

Post by k650dsn@aol.com » Tue Jun 20, 2000 11:47 am

Someone at work thinks their new Toyota 4Runner is so special that it needs to park in the motorcycle only section at work. I usually arrive before this, ahem, special person does and I want to figure out a way to discourage their choice of parking spots so that my other riding brothers will have a spot to park when they arrive. None of my bikes are big enough to take up enough room to keep this evil cager out of the spot. Any ideas? Gino

There's a lazy broad* at my health club who made a habit of parking her Maxima in the motorcycle parking area. I mentioned it to the staff, which, predictably, solved nothing. So I began knocking her driver-side mirror into it's fully forward position. This damaged nothing, but she finally got the message. Chris Lawson *Yes, she is broad.

Send his picture to uglypeople.com and then let everyone in the office know of this.

He told me that they had been "ovaling" the end of the "S-bend" pipe due to worn out mandrills. He claimed that they were going to fix the pipes in stock, or make new ones. They were going to send them out to the people with problems within two to three days. That was two weeks ago. I tried to tell him that even if they fixed the "ovaling" that still wouldn't fix the under size problem. If the high points of an oval are small in diameter, undoing the oval isn't going to make these high points grow. I told him they need to enlarge the muffler end of the "S-bend" pipe in order to correct the anomaly. He didn't want to listen. I could not wait. I went to a muffler shop and had them enlarge the pipe to fit the muffler inlet. With a small film of High Temp RTV and the supplied pipe clamp, it works like it is supposed to with no leaks and a tight fit. Needless to say, I am about to write a formal complaint to the manager of customer service at Supertrapp. There service concerning the problems with this pipe has been horrid. I intend to let them know about it. Not to mention I ran up over $20.00 in long distance charges trying to resolve all the problems I had. I suggest that anyone with problems should write to them and professionally "vent" on them. Jim Sherlock
