Ed, My heartfelt feelings go out to you. Yes, I have experienced the very same thing that you have. Only mine was a late 60's Lincoln Continental that caused my experience. I too, was fortunate enough to walk away with only minor sprains and a cracked sternum, thanks to my Bell full face helmet. The accident happened in 1978 but it is still as clear in my head as if I had recorded it on a DVD. I am not sure exactly what to tell you, because people deal with stress and trauma in different ways. I was lucky enough to be in my late teens when this happened so bounce back was a bit easier because I was still full of piss and vinegar. But, to be honest, as I get older, and when I ride in traffic, I find myself being more and more cautious every year. To tell you the truth, I don't exactly know what I can say in type to ease your current pain and fright. However, if you would like to call me and talk, at least you'll have a sympathetic ear to express your feelings to, and no I am not gay. I am happily married with child. Just a fellow motorcyclist that has experienced the same trauma. Jim Sherlock 414-761-0838
