Post by R. Hoskins » Sun Apr 30, 2000 11:13 pm

Seattle Area Lister, My brother called this evening and said that he was interested in buying a KLR650 or equivilent before he leaves for Alaska. I said that I post a note and see if anyone has one for sale. Thanks Randy Hoskins

dreaded "other" corbin that I have seen in the FAQ's? Yes, only it is what we call the stock Corbin, anything else is the modified
> On another note, the bike was immaculate, 1600 miles, with the corbin and
the kawi tank bag/bra as the only mods that I could find on the> bike. They wanted $4000 for it, but I have seen it sitting there forseveral months (I think since early March) so any ideas what a resonable price might be for it? If I do end up purchasing it, is there a source for stock seats or someone who actually likes that awful thing they call a seat? The $4000 is a fair price so anything less will be gravy. Keep in mind that the 2001's will be out in July in many places, so you're less than two months away from a two year old not one year old bike... If you send the Corbin to Raul at Corbin he'll make it into the modified Corbin and recover it for $100-$140. That is what I'd do. The modified Corbin is very decent. Kurt
