clutch cable lifespan

Tonight I was lubing my clutch cable and I noticed near the nipple end at the lever, it was starting to fray. No probs, I just replaced it with my spare and now I'm using the original cable as the spare. But how long 'should' one last? My KLR is a 99 with about 11,500 kms on it. Thanks! Yes, they (your jokes) were all in fun, worth a good chuckle and all... but that's all in retrospect. At the time of the posts, after the second or third one, everyone was beginning to believe that BD was for real. Considering that, you got off easy sir.

Now that's an ignorant statement. What about everyone else who (politely) called you a loser? Remember... she was responding to the (believably real) posts that you were making to this list. I think you should apologize to the lady. seriously, Arne
