The ride is on open legal right-of-ways. It is a great time and the
average rider should have no problems. You may want to wear a Camel
Back or something along those lines for water. I rode it several
years
ago and had a blast. They made several stops for food and gas. For
more info on the ride just search "Barstow to Vegas protest ride".
Also, the Sahara Club is a great source of info on the ride. I'm
not sure if they have a web page yet or not. Hope this helps, Gary
