My favorites are Fat Tire, Sunshine Wheat, Shiner Bock and the old Killians Red (if you can find a case of the old Killians Red, I'll give you a kit). Coors is good for watering plants and Budwieser isn't even worthy of my toilet bowl. I am not hoping to start a beer debate nor offend any of you but after burning my taste buds off with hot chile since moving to New Mexico, my new delicate buds are soothed only by good beer. I'm certainly open to trying any of your favorite beers. I got to try Uff Da (sp?) last year. WHHOOO HOOO what a beer, to bad I can't buy it here. *********************************** There was a great Beer festival in Amsterdam, and all of the world's greatest brewers were in attendance. One evening the heads of Coors, Anheiser-Busch, and Guiness decided to find a local restaurant and have some dinner. Bravado was high, and when the waitress came to collect drink orders, Adolph Coors proudly proclaimed, "I will have one of Coors' finest!" Not to be outdone, August Busch spoke up to place his order. "A Budweiser," bellowed August, "from the great breweries of Anheiser-Busch!" Finally, everyone turned to Arthur Guiness, who sighed as he told the waitress, "I'll have a Coca-Cola." A murmur rolled through the restaurant, and looks of disbelief and confusion fell upon the faces of the other diners. "Wouldn't you rather have a Guiness?" asked the waitress. "Well," replied Mr. Guiness, "If my dinner companions aren't going to drink BEER with their dinner, then neither will I."
