Now he's calling our women easy. This dude knows no boundaries. Chris Lawson, who's tempted to lead a ride up the famed and dreaded Moab Rim Trail just to watch an R1100GS get turned into scrap metal at the first right turn. >> Rolling on the floor, laughing my ass off. :) Scott A14 Sorrento

The arrogance of BD (Big Dog) is astounding! I notice he doesn't use his real name. I am really embarrassed being a R1100GS owner. I have 66,000 miles on my GS and I love it but I would never claim it is equal to or even superior to a KLR off the hard surface. Whatever one's talents are riding a GS will be multiplied many times on a KLR. I take sideways glances at dirt roads on the GS but ACTIVELY look for dirt on my KLR. I wonder why he is ordering a F650GS PD if the R1150GS is so superior? I guess being from Texas and being a Beemer owner is just too powerful to control. I think he embarrasses the Beemer crowd also. I am fairly certain he won't show up in Moab. Maybe he will show up since he is looking for "easy rides" with the "ladies"! Ron '95 R1100GS '00 KLR650 -- --- Ronald Wells

Big Dork.     I've had beemers for 30 years, eleven of 'em.  The best off-roader was the R60, but it wouldn't handle any rough stuff.  It was tough enough to sustain repeated crashes, though, unlike the R1100/50 series. Let's see him get a little water into the fuel injection computer, fifty miles from the nearest town.   I own one, and RS, but it stays on the pavement.....probably due to my lack of experience, and dearth of riding talent, I suppose.

Not really. The boyz were just hoping you were somebody playing dumb. Not one of the mentally enfeebled... Guess there's no hope left, boyz.

And what, pray tell, are the facts. Please, enlighten us. I'm awfully curious *smiles, showing dimple*

Nope no blame at all... But you do realize that your inadequacies are hanging out all over, right?
> I take it there will be > some lady riders at Moab.
Aw, those lovely Texans, shameless flatterers. I haven't been called a lady in years...
> That means there will be some easy > rides?
What means there will be easy rides? I'm afraid I don't follow your "facts" here.
> Who is in charge of coordinating the rides there?
It's sort of a group affair. I believe if you go to the website, and email the rally organizer, Gino mailto:k650dsn@... , he'll be able to fill you in on details. Oh, and be sure to explain to him how the BMW is superior to other brands. You'll find you two have a lot in common. :)

Nice one Sarah "pretty in pink (ankles)" Barwig. How do you like "pink lady", as your Cal Posse handle? Since you tool around the Santa Monica mountains, I thought the "pink lady" had a nice ring to it. Remember the "pink lady" on the Malibu road tunnel? Russel'r > BD > R1150GS > F650GS PD on order

The "away on holidays" was the perfect ruse, as April fools was a bit of a flop... But on the offchance that this guy does exist, I will continue to insult him - without meaning to offend of course.
