[dsn_klr650] oooppss scottoiler install?
Ken,
You can see some pix of a Scottoiler install I did last year at:
http://users.netropolis.net/tmeagher/bars/KLR.htm
I tried to armor it more than the installation on the dualsport.org site.
Note that I've since ripped the joker off the bike with glee. After almost
a year and 18,000 miles I finally became disgusted with it's constant
unending filth. I'm tired of making excuses for it.
I've converted to the WD40 club. Hey, if you can get 20,000 miles out of an
o-ring chain running nothing other than clean old WD40 on it every now and
then, who needs the ceaseless grime of the Scottoiler?
Also, the Scottoiler adjustment was always varying all over the place.
Sometimes it would dump dangerous amounts of oil on the back tire, and other
times it would let the chain run dry. In the dust, the chain became a sand
magnet.
I gave it a good shot, but now, good riddance.
