Two ways to go, the first is lowering links. Some tall expert riders, like Verle, even fit them because they like the way they change the handling. The second is to cut down the seat (I also inserted a gel bladder). These mods sure worked for me. Check the archives for a product called "lowering links". Mixed reviews. Some have been very happy with the results... some have not. Quality product that will drop your bike about 1.5" I believe. Hey ho listers, At long last, I am on the road for the 2000 season, but it didn't come cheaply: - three shims from Kawi dealer $33.00 CDN plus tax - one oil filter with o-ring $8.50 CDN plus tax - six months full insurance coverage from the only vehicle insurance provider allowed by law in British Columbia i.e. monopoly $678.00 CDN (and that is AFTER a 40% discount) Oh, well. Put 112 Km on the clock on Saturday, got cold, wet and dirty but had a blast. Later, Rob
