Nylocks are easily obtainable. The upgraded countershaft nut isn't THE EXTENDED CLUTCH ARM IS NEW TO ME AND VERY INTERESTING...now that is a find! EXTENDED CLUTCH ARM Reduces clutch pull by 30% The Extended Clutch Arm works on all model KLR650's, old and new generation. The standard factory arm is on the left and the extended arm is on the right. The extended clutch arm lightens the clutch pull by about 30% and increases the friction zone making the bike easier to ride. If you've ever thought of converting to a hydraulic clutch this is a far less expensive solution. http://www.angelfire.com/ut/moab/newproduct.html

I like cotter pins instead of hitch pins. Tree line or twigs can pull them out (happened to me). A guy at Moab one year lost his and his front axle it using one. Criswell Sent from my iPhone

Go to Amazon and look up "ring cotter". Advantages of a clip but will lock. 3/4" size. Available at Home Depot. hint: twist the tang over the back of the cotter portion to firmly lock. You can use them; there's a method to them to keep them from coming out. Always install with the loop tilting forward. Second, After I install it, I turn the castle nut enough to bind it in place. -Jeff Khoury

In KLR Heaven SoCal, we call 'em clip thingies. My Grainger Catalog calls 'em Clevis Pins...............but then again HD owns the world. BTW, I avoid Home Depot like the plague. Their customer service stinks. Buddy
