With all due respect to the red wine of any country, my preferences
these days come from Chili and Argentina. Malbec from Argentina and
Carmenere from Chili. But I'll take a good bottle of RED California
Zin any old day. But since this is a bike group, it is probably
either beer or Crown. Bug Light (Bud Light) is probably a favorite
but as beer goes Negra Modelo from Mexico is my primo pick.

There was a guy skiing once in at Lake Tahoe obviously over-served
that almost crashed into me before ... he crashed. He got up,
brushed himself off, straightened his bota bag and cried out "I like
my wine like I like my women ........ white." I guess I like red
 women (and good oil).

How about a Malbec from Chile? A few years ago, sky-wench in first
class gave me a couple nice bottles to take with me off the plane.
Can't remember the vintner, but I do remember enjoying it.

I like my new Darien jacket but I like the idea of having a back
protector. Aerostich sell theirs for $60, but I've heard that the
$100 ones at Actionstation are better. Anyone had experience using
 either one?

 Thanks!

Brian, you helped me out with some good advice at a dark time for my
family and I deeply appreciate your motorcycle contributions to this
 forum.

That said: McCain has limited use of his hands, hence less skilled
than you obviously are at keyboarding. Do you actually think he or
any other Senator spends much time on the computer composing
 anything??
Ever hear of "Staffers", they do that stuff.

Chinese health care is a joke. In your trips to Beijing you may have
experienced good care but try that outside the metro areas and you'll
find that dentists still use a hammer and chisel to remove teeth,
without x-rays, simple things like sterilized instruments are rare.

While she is obviously not as skilled a politician as you would like,
Sarah Palin got a LNG pipeline deal signed that has been the goal of
half a dozen administrations here in Alaska. She has a very high
approval rating here and if she comes back to Alaska as Gov. I don't
think she runs much chance of impeachment. Unlike some.

The most recent pro-Obama ad running here in AK says that McCain has
no plans for tax-relief for the middle class, but later in the same
commercial Obama states he'll provide "three times the relief my
opponent proposes for the middle class". Please correct me if I'm
wrong but isn't three times zero still zero

As for NoObama's financial advisors, two words to that point:
 Franklin Raines
