It would be simple enough to remove the throttle/grip to test that premise. shrug.m.

engine dying when turning left at slow speed
The test is when you are setting idling and turn the handle bars to the left. As you see the throttle cable get tight, maybe because there are unnecessary obstructions, it dies.

The throttle cables are a pull and a pull. One is for open and the other is for close. The idle speed screw is the stop for the throttle plate unless the open cable is adjusted too tight and is controlling the idle speed. It could also be routed incorrectly. Best,

Quick check would be to see if the throttle snaps back on its own when released; if the cables are adjusted too tight it'll bind and won't allow the return spring to pull it back to the idle stop.
Enricher cable seems more likely, if the 2000 rpm test rules out an electrical ignition cutout issue, by not cutting out when the rpm is raised..

Yes, it does not die at 2000 rpm or more. Never thought about the cable being too tight. I'll check that out. I don't remember it, but it "MUST HAVE" happened...... My GPS say's my max speed last trip out was 568MPH. (And we all know the gps's are more accurate then the speedo, that is off about 5mph.)
