"Oh please" indeed. Yet I'd rather see a discussion about auxillary lighting, considering we're all spending more time with darkness this time of year. Not only the "being seen" side of lighting, but also the merits of reg-vs-HID-vs-LED, the harness & switches, fog, driving, white/amber/purple...LOL. Then we could twist that into best lighting for a Scout Rifle. Snicker. Funny you should mention it. The latest MCN has a how-to article on getting the ethanol out of your gasoline. As for knobs or your FZ, I wouldn't bother. That bike is pretty light and narrow, and pretty well-behaved on gravel roads. But street tires will work anywhere you can ride it. Or put another way, anywhere you really need knobbies, you won't want to go. Steepish, rocky 2-track, a few shallow creek crossings, miles and miles of made gravel roads, all easily done on street tires. But if you are going to run off pavement a lot, the DS tires will let you go faster, with less effort.

What oil are you using to lube your Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle? I am thinking about using wd-40 on mine... at least to clean off the grit. ________________________________ From: SniperOne To: KLR List DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2012 6:58 AM Subject: RE: [DSN_KLR650] Re: TKC80 question "Oh please" indeed.
