air compressor
Yes. You put the compressor in another room or outside and run the hose
to where you are working.

Because there is now synthetic dot 3 and dot 4 at the auto part stores. I thought that only dot5 was synthetic. There used to be
a Valvoline synthetic seemed that it was compatible with everything but they discontinued it.
Coolant is difficult also because there are newer standards, newer formulations for certain vehicles. http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/products/1272436
And that article is over a couple of years old already!

air compressor
50 foot of 3/8 hose helps the noise a lot. I like to use the large high
flow connectors on the compressor and on the two 25 foot hoses I have
and then have a 15 foot whip with the large connector on one end and
the standard on the other. I can just use the 15 footer when airing
tires and go to the 25 with the high flow connectors when using the
impact tool or the die grinder.
