Yes. You put the compressor in another room or outside and run the hose to where you are working. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa I like piston compressors

Because there is now synthetic dot 3 and dot 4 at the auto part stores. I thought that only dot5 was synthetic. There used to be a Valvoline synthetic seemed that it was compatible with everything but they discontinued it. Coolant is difficult also because there are newer standards, newer formulations for certain vehicles. http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/products/1272436 And that article is over a couple of years old already! 50 foot of 3/8 hose helps the noise a lot. I like to use the large high flow connectors on the compressor and on the two 25 foot hoses I have and then have a 15 foot whip with the large connector on one end and the standard on the other. I can just use the 15 footer when airing tires and go to the 25 with the high flow connectors when using the impact tool or the die grinder. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa with enduro sidecar
