I sing this to my wife all the time, and she always gets really angry at me. Go figure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSrZ68JV3mY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g266Uwp6ZnI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwfhoZ9QtPo Robert P. What about a re-working of "YMCA", I think that only the lyrics were catchy. DC

Hmmmm....old Hendrix. Good song, but how does it apply to biking? Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who didn't. "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure." -- Helen Keller

Hmmm, you know that might not b e such a bad choice...when you think about where a KLR can go, where they have been, and where they are goiong. klr650 : conundrum

Post by Jud » Sat Jul 16, 2011 5:21 am

The longest-lasting 50/50 tire is the Kenda K270. Nothing else comes close. Everything else either costs too much, or doesn't last long enough, which is another way of saying it costs too much. That said, my favorite tire for the KLR is the Dunlop 606, which works well on pavement, is excellent off-road, and is reasonably priced. For me the 606 lasts significantly longer than comparable tires. But it looks like your Scorpions have been lasting about 14k. If they suit your riding, why would you want to change? There isn't a tire made that will do that for me.
