i finaly finished the vista cruise on the 08

If using "barkbusters" there are ways to get more room. The instructions call for the Universal Vista Cruise to be put over the grip. If you put it directly on the tube it overlaps the flange giving a bit more length left over. This can be done by using both the thick and thin filler one over the other. Then put the grip on the tube afterwards. It is a bit tight but I am comfortable with an XL winter street glove. I did not do this but it appears if instead of using the supplied bar clamp fabricate an "L" bracket and drill a hole to attach to the throttle housing to keep the lock from rotating you would then be able to slide the throttle further onto the bars to get more room. Of course the grip would overhang the end of the tube slightly but I don't think it would matter. Walt
