help! motor oil in the airbox

Blake: Two other ways to extract oil from the engine are either by suction or by pressure. Suction: Maybe look at the air filter. If it is getting clogged up, the additional vacuum may start pulling more oil up through the breather to the airbox. Pressure: Maybe the rings are a problem and the blow-by might be pressurizing the crankcase and pushing the oil out the breather to the airbox. In either case a high oil level will aid in the transfer of oil to the airbox. Don R100, A6F
