tires: north to alaska
I've lived here for 30 years now and If anyone is interested you can
mail them to my house and then come pick them up when you get here,
someone is usually around. This year I meet some klr riders from
Canada (a father and son) on their way to the North Slope and some
riders from England on rental KLRs ( from Anchorage) on the Denali
Highway, exploring Alaska. Just PM me. It's in the 40's today and
winter's coming and the bike will go back in the garage for 7 months,
 ugh.

Martin,
I left from 40 miles N of Calgary and rode to Whitehorse then Skagway, then back thru BC
(went all over AK a few years ago, but NOT the 'Haul Road'), total of 6902 kms. Started w/
new Kenda K270s, 3.25x21 and 5.10x17 at 36 psi, one tube an HD Moose, the other?, and
I've probably got 1/2 the tread left, BOTH ends.
 Have a great ride!
 Ed
