Not to worry about all those critics, Mike. After all, this /is/ a KLR list. "Style" around here is a very relative notion! I don't reckon it would be too hot in De Tour conditions, but as a road warrior, it has appeal. Personally, I really like the freshness of the styling. They got cojones at Polaris, I gotta say. A couple of years ago I was at a state trade convention. Three guys rode their bikes to the evening BBQ, 2 Harleys and 1 Victory. One of the Harley guys asked the Victory owner "What kind of bike is that?" The proud owner replied "It's a Victory!" The Harley guy looked it over and said "Looks like a Defeat to me." I can't help but chuckle whenever I see one now.

I can respect the history of HD but the expense is not justified in my book. You are definetly paying for the name. I can buy the most expensive Big Bear chopper for about the same as a base model HD. I just don't get it. SnS motor Baker tranny and priced less then a HD with their bone stock twin cam. I'd buy that Victory before I would buy a HD. Kerry

Kinda looks like it has the same seating position as a Concurs by the photo. For more money of course and more modern stuff. Concurs still seems like a nice bike, but as some have pointed out, that riding position would be a huge consideration for myself, leave that hunchback style for the young folk that are not already pretty much walking that way already. However on this thread was the first time I have heard anything bad about the Victory line bike (Polaris is not on the top of my list of things to own, I must admit) BMW has some nice looking touring bikes also, but just cannot see myself ever paying that much, at least the Victory line is priced inline with the average Joe's world. Check again. They take a Harley price list and just slide in their own models. They are up in there in mortgage territory for most of their models.
