You lost me there Matt.. As far as I know the animal died before expressing a preference, the car was a write-off, and erhh.. no cowboys have since been available for comment.

One of the best things I ever bought was a tap and die
set. Get a metric one and clean up the threads, might
work. If not next time you have a screw that won't
go, etc. whip it out and clean up the threads before
it gets ruined. Easy and fun to use.
I guess you could also drill it out and tap it for a
bigger screw or put a helicoil in it for the original
size screw.
