I switched to synth at 500 miles. 7,000 miles later my A18 still uses no noticeable oil between 2,500 mile changes. I never add a drop in- between. I thought the Manual say to change it every 3000 miles. That's regular oil right?
Why change it sooner using Synth?

My A13 Owners Manual and '95 Supplement Shop Manual both put the oil/filter change interval at 10,000 km or 6000 miles. Pat G'ville, NV> Why change it sooner using Synth? > > Paulo >

During break-in I changed the dino oil and filter at 500, 1500, 3000 and
4500 miles. At 6000 I went to Mobile 1 and have changed oil and filter with
every valve adjustment ever since.
