Here is my problem I can't stay at 70 on the speedo while going up small North texas hills. The fastest I have been is almost 80 down hill with a tailwind. I weigh 165 and am 5 foot 7. The bike is a 93 with 33,000 miles on it. The bike has been up to 90 MPH sometime before it hit 29,000 miles. I can't clean the exhaust out because the heads are broken off the bolts so I just took the muffler off. There was not much of a noticable difference in performance. Compression was checked at 120 lbs and valves were all good 2000 miles ago. Oil level is at the top line on the sight glass when the bike is level and not on the kickstand. I drained the carb using the screw on the side of the carb. A little gas came out and then stopped flowing. Should it have stopped flowing? I'm leaning towards carb problems and am going to take the carb apart next weekend. Is there a rebuild kit with all o-rings and such for the CVK carb on it? Anything specific I should look for?
