no windshield...what a difference!

I just took a shakedown trip on my new KRL with the aftermarket windscreen. Got buffeted so bad I contemplated tossing the thing, but it cost about 80 bucks. I'm offering it for sale at half price. Darryl Al Maurine wrote:

I find no shield the best. I mounted an old face shield on the bike instead of the stock shield and would ride and then cut down an inch and ride and so forth. No shield yielded the quietest ride. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa

Ditto, been riding without on the KLR for a yaer, ditto on the Connie while it's hot.. took the shield off the Rifle base.. Dan P Graham WA

Yes riding from Grants Pass OR to and back from San Jose last DEC xmas week .. I did wish I had a w/s on and taller than stock.. for most of the year I like the no shield effect. Dan P. Graham WA
