Riders who live more than 15 miles away may choose to put their bikes on a special train which we have organised and the BMWOA have sponsored. All train personnel have been trained in the proper handling of a BMW motorcycle and have been supplied with kid gloves. This will be an environment where everyone can feel safe to talk about their BMW's without fear of ridicule. All topics of conversation are welcome but should stay close to one of the following.. 'I just spent another thousand on parts and...' 'Did you see the new gadget I just bought...' 'My technique for cleaning my bike is...' 'So I took my bike to the dealer again because it was still surging...' 'Did you see my new Aerostich?' 'Did you see my new BMW boots?' 'Its going be due for the 500mile service in a couple of months and...' 'My microbrewery beer is better than your microbrewery beer because...' 'I'd take in on the dirt, but there's a good chance you might drop it...' Any riders suggesting that the group should actually go riding will be asked to leave - this is intended to be a friendly forum where BMW riders should feel comfortable being themselves and we don't need people stirring up trouble like that.
