battery life

Wondering if anyone knows the status of the Bajaworx windshields. They have the look I want, but are listed as not being produced at the moment. Does anyone have more info about why they stopped, or when they'll be back? If I can't get one of those, what's the next best option? The Givi? Clearview makes some good windshields for your bike. They come in three different heights and tints. http://clearviewshields.com/shop/product.php?id=303 Clearview uses your stock windshield along with their taller windshield to help vent behind the windshield which will limit turbulence. There were some year end very slightly damaged models for sale if you would like to save a few bucks, let me know. Well, you both missed a fine time, followed by lunch at the Shanghai Bistro, where it's not too hard to spend $80 on sushi, but if you take care you can get out for 17.84 for lunch for two.

Years ago I would use a BMW trickle charger according to the instructions and batteries would last 1.5-2 years. Then a guy who worked at a battery store took me aside and told me to just disconnect the ground wire, leave the battery in the bike, don't charge it in any way, don't warm it up, don't do ANYTHING to it at all. When spring comes around and I'm ready to ride, hook up the ground wire and start the bike; go for a rather long ride (50) miles or more. That is it. I'm currently riding a 2004 goldwing that I bought new and it is still on the original battery. That is in part due to the technology improvement of battery design. My KLR battery, which is the cheapest battery I can find, only lasts about 4 years. Good Luck.
